1969 Topps Baseball Deckle Edge (35) Card Master Complete Set
The 1969 Topps Deckle Edge Baseball Card Set includes 33 black-and-white cards with scalloped borders. The cards measure 2" x 3" and were inserted into packs of 1969 Topps baseball cards. The 1969 Topps Deckle Edge Set was designed to have each team represented by at least one player, but the trades of Rusty Staub and Hoyt Wilhelm, left the Royals and Astros unrepresented. This resulted in the set's two variations: Wilhelm, was replaced as card #11 by the Astros Jimmy Wynn, and Joe Foy of the Royals, replaced Rusty Staub as card #22. The Wynn and Foy cards were produced in smaller quantities and these short-printed cards are not considered as part of standard 1969 Topps Deckle Edge Complete Set, but as part of the 35-card Master set.
